Blackjack and Poker grand prize winners walked away with over $40,000 cash and a VIP Trip to the Playboy Mansion!

WHEELING, W.Va. (November 11, 2008) — Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack concluded the area’s most exclusive tournament events, The Playboy Tournament Series on November 6-9 awarding two lucky winners over $40,000 in cash prizes and a VIP trip for 2 to the Playboy Mansion.

Richard Burris of Kimbolton, OH was Wheeling Island’s $165,000 Playboy Series of Blackjack Finale grand prize winner.

The action was heated as Burris and the runner-up went head-to-head on the final hand. The runner-up had 14 against the dealers 9 and went all in with about $800 chips. Burris responded by also going all in with $500 chips and was dealt a winning blackjack hand. The crowd of by-standers went crazy with applause!

Burris was awarded a grand prize package including a $10,500 check, a VIP Trip for 2 to the Playboy Mansion and an exclusive photo with tournament Playboy Playmates Stephanie Larimore and Michelle McLaughlin.

The poker action started with 190 players and only 11 survived to the final table. In the end, Eric Revak of Philadelphia, PA was Wheeling Island’s $135,000 Playboy Poker Open grand prize winner.

The final table battled it out for just over an hour and at 11:15pm, Revak was awarded a grand prize title. His prize package included a $30,400 check, a VIP Trip for 2 to the Playboy Mansion and an exclusive photo with tournament participant and Playboy Playmate Michelle McLaughlin.

Wheeling Island’s Playboy Tournament Series Finale Weekend was jam-packed with entertainment and tournament action including a free concert by Pittsburgh’s own BonJourney, a live concert performance by country music newcomer Keith Anderson, various satellite qualifiers and a special autograph session by Playboy Playmates Stephanie Larimore and Michelle McLaughlin.
